The kernel

Popzup sells the loop: kernels, a stovetop popper, and ready-to-eat bags for the nights you will not stand at the stove. That is a point of view. Most brands pick one lane. Popzup assumes you might want to become a person who pops, and they sell the on-ramp. The Atlas respects an on-ramp.

The pot

The popper is the product that changes the house. A dedicated pot with a stirrer or a designed lid beats a random saucepan with a glass top you have to jiggle. Popzup's gear is not the only good popper. Whirley Pop people will tell you so, and they are correct. It is a complete kit from one site, which matters when you are gifting or when you are done borrowing a roommate's dented Revere Ware.

Hulls

The corn itself is solid grocery-plus: kernels that pop clean if you heat them properly, RTE bags for the travel case. It is not an heirloom program. It will not replace Tiny But Mighty or Amish Country once you have opinions about varieties. It will get you to the point of having opinions.
