What holds

  • Amazon gourmet search is full of the cones
  • A real 2003 founding pair

What doesn't

  • The corn is a coating vehicle
  • Not a weeknight pot

The kernel

Popcornopolis sells small-batch cones: caramel, zebra, assortments. Amazon gourmet and popcorn searches were full of the 12-count and 40-count multipacks. Consumer Reports ordered a tin; the lid came off in transit and the company did not replace it.

The pot

This is shop popcorn in a cone, not a Tuesday pot. Later coverage puts the brand under Grupo Bimbo / Barcel. We have not confirmed that in a Bimbo release, so the parent stays lightly held. Later profiles name Wally and Kathy Arnold as founders in 2003. Treat that as secondary until the brand confirms it.

Hulls

Hulls sit under a coating. You are buying caramel and chocolate, not a variety lesson.

Company

Cone bags. Caramel and zebra. A Bimbo snack now, still sold as gourmet cones.
