- The wrap is the thesis
- Not an heirloom breeding program
The kernel
Jonas Tempel and Bradley Roulier built Opopop. Forbes (2022) covered the founding pair. Alex Medeiros was named CEO in 2025. Brand copy says kernels from Paulman Farms in western Nebraska.
The pot
The pot is a pouch of flavor-wrapped kernels and, often, a silicone popper. You pop at home. The wrap is the pitch. Amazon microwave search carries the pouches. BakeryAndSnacks (April 2026) reported a Walmart reset; Target is also in the 2026 retail story.
Hulls
Hulls are still hulls. Seasoning is on the kernel before the pop, which is a different file from a foil bag, and a different file from an heirloom breeding program.
